Capital One - GM Card
Animation Featuring all the value and benefits of Capital One’s GM Card was a welcome and pleasant challenge! With the design based on modular thinking, focused on all the technicalities of the card, animating this project was a really fun experience.
While constantly in a grid, the animation continuously transitions into each frame with mechanical finesse, with visual flourishes of other elements sprinkled all around.

As you can see on the right, the team developed a grid in After Effects that we can use to create the base of the animation.
From there, precomps and fills are used on top, parented to the grid.
Any extra animations/flourishes are within the precomps themselves, to suggest even more secondary movements.
