Indigenous Peoples’ Day
Design & Animation
To celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day, I thought I would highlight beautiful Native American items and tools, as well as their recognizable patternwork, all of which are enlightening & informative.
Developing the visual style was a very iterative process. The careful use of fills and lines, where elements and negative spaces connect in specific areas achive a distinct level of sophistication and cleverness. I also wanted to consider the composition and arrangement of elements, almost like
a still-life photo.
Furthermore, the animation of the frames continue the idea of things being connected, in a continuous, looping sequence.
